About Nirvanna Designs

The name Nirvanna finds its roots in a combination of the 2 original 
founders of the company- Nir Gurel and Anna Fischer.  After a long and 
inspirational trip to Asia in 1996 Nirvanna was born out of the 
designers' love and appreciation for what they had been fortunate 
enough to experience from their travels.

Nirvanna's early years focused mainly on leather bags and wool 
accessories.  Today the company focuses on 3 main collections: 
ICE- outerwear accessories; 
AIR- light weight non sized cover ups; and 
SAND handcrafted embellished sandals.

All of our collections are a combination of East meets West as 
conversely concrete meets nature. Our design team lives a part-time 
to full time in Asia and is influenced by both the mountains of the 
Himalayas and the beautiful beaches of Indonesia and Thailand. 

Nirvanna designs has always incorporated century old techniques that 
give the feeling of authenticity, originality and soul- 
This is what our pieces evoke, this is why our customers find us to be 
truly special.

Our most important contributors are the designers and craftspeople of Nepal, Indonesia, 
India and Thailand.

We believe that by helping the local population, using their natural resources and giving 
the local people work (especially women) we are creating a circle of Karma.

Our products are made with love and respect to the environment and to the people of Asia.
